An efficient system for heating drinking water using the principle of electromagnetic induction was implemented. The project consists of two stages: the heating system and a temperature control of the ON-OFF type. The electromagnetic induction circuit heats a steel pipe and this in turn transfers the heat to a small flow of water stored in a container, a selector allows the user to choose the desired temperature, a flow sensor that informs the existing flow, two electro valves placed at the entrance and exit control the circulation of water to the outside if only if it reached the selected temperature avoiding unnecessary waste. Considering the tests carried out, the system has an efficiency superior to 80 % and when contrasted with a conventional system based on resistances, it generates an energy and monetary saving of 35 %.
